Each of these textile designs are distinctive to Santo Tomas Jalieza in the state of Oaxaca. Balbina Navarro and her family are the talented artisans who create these beautiful, handmade textiles.

Balbina learned to weave at the early age of 3 and she is the third generation to master the art of weaving using a back strap loom. A single table runner can take up to one week to make using this technique
